Good groceries for a discount. Gary's store buys overstock or "undesirable" items from the distributors for a low low price. That is why they can offer some good food (I'm talking quality and organic) at a price that you won't get from the usual grocery stores. Now they takes what the distributors have so it'll be different inventory everyone but who cares... The prices are awesome!
Love this place! I save so much money on my groceries, and the quality is solid and reliable. Customer service is wonderful as well.
Cheese was 1.5 per pound... I mean what else can you ask for??!! A crate of strawberries (6 normal plastics boxes) for 3 dollars. Bring a jacket because the good stuff is in a huge walk in freezer.
I should take off a star or two for the state of the parking lot or how far south it is, but the great deals on groceries and produce are worth it. Every time you visit, it's a different shopping experience. They carry damaged or slightly past sell by date goods from high end grocery stores, and get new items daily. They also have a walk in fridge with fresh fruit and yogurt. Worth the drive!
The staff are ultra helpful and friendly. One time we had bought two packages of portobello mushroom. Staff informed me that for the same price we can get a pack of 8. So we got the right and gave a couple to out neighbors because we couldn't eat them all. I think all of them were just a few bucks. But anyway, you get the idea.
I've been coming here for several years and can't believe I haven't yelped about this great grocery spot! Though today when we went I had the pleasure of meeting Gary, the owner, and learned a little about this store...
They a great store but you do have to look at the expiration date, because you might get something with a bad date. But other than that they have great deals
So a big thank you to Gary who opened this place back in 1993. Only wish we had something like this near our home. Though the 35 minute drive is worth it!
