After spending thousands of dollars here over the years, we have no complaints, only praise. Highly recommended.
We regularly go here, mostly to dry clean business attire for my wife and I. They usually start preparing our order as soon as they see our car pull up. They offer to help carry large orders out to our car. We've had alterations done on multiple occasions. Once the owner personally delivered our order to our house (not an offered service, I believe) when we couldn't get to their store and needed the order immediately (they didn't charge for it, but we happily tipped them generously after the fact). A couple of times they stayed open when we called ahead saying that we'd be late getting to their store. Turn around time can be less than 24 hours. Service is pleasant, including by the "Korean owner" as described by another reviewer. In this same area--which sports numerous dry cleaning services--you can wind up paying almost 7 times as much for the same service.
DON'T COME HERE IF YOU ARE A TALL OR LARGE WOMAN. The last time I was there I was charged "Dress" pricing for my shirts. ($5 more an item) When I asked why, I told by Kim that my clothes were too large. Kim did my dry cleaning for 7 years. I had even continued to use her after they dropped their 40% off everything pricing. But never, never again. Very disappointing. (I'm 5'10", 180 lbs, Size 14)
I have been using them for many years. They do a good job and are very friendly. Like another person posted, they start getting my stuff when they see me coming.
I've been coming to this location for over one year now, and until recently I've been satisfied with their services. However, they recently stained the inside of a jacket of mine and refused to reimburse me the $150 I spent on the jacket. They stated there was no record of the item being cleaned by them which I know is false, they are the only cleaners I use and I've only had the jacket cleaned once which was by them. I spend $100 a month on dry cleaning with this location, and they have lost my business because they failed to do right by me and reimburse me for the jacket they ruined. I find it appalling that they would be willing to loose $1,200 in annual business rather than reimburse me for my jacket. The owner is dishonest, and I would recommend to anyone not to utilize their services due to their lack of honesty. Who knows, the next piece of clothing they ruin will probably be more expensive than mine and most likely be owned by you.
As their customer for many years, I disagree to what another reviewer has said. The owners of this cleaners would have not refused to reimburse if they have truly ruined the jacket. When they accidentally ruin my shirt, they did not hesitate to redo or reimburse the shirt I wasn't very happy with. The owners are very friendly and honest here. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I have been using this Comet's Cleaners for many years now and we're satisfied with their work and service. Whenever I have to take my husband's clothes with mine, they're always willing and offering to help.
