Love the place. Our favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant. Eat there at least twice a month.
LOVED the stromboli! It was very generous, stuffed to the gills and then some, and very tasty! Since Sali's closed, we were looking for a nearby place to get our stromboli fix, and this looks like the place. Am looking forward to going back soon to check out some of their other offerings... like the eggplant Parmigiana... it looked so good when we saw it going to another table. My one request, and perhaps they already offer it... pizza by the slice! My husband and I aren't super-heavy eaters, so even a "small" pizza would be too much for just the two of us, but a nice big slice with a salad for each of us and (maybe) a shared dessert is just right! The service was also good-- no helicopter waitresses, but our waitress was on the ball and attentive if we needed anything... which really, we didn't, because it was taken care of before we HAD to ask. And the decor was nice, too, without being hokey or overdone. We will be back... soon, I hope!
Have never had a bad meal here. Verona is my go to choice for Italian food when I have company and want a good meal. Don't forget it is BYOB, which is great, I always know I'm getting something I like with my meal and easy on the budget.
First time. Lunch special. Great prices. Great food. Friendly staff. Fabulous homemade bread! Home made bread!. Beautiful inside and out. Quiet and wonderful music. Will go whenever I'm in town.
It's been about a year since I last ordered from here, but I decided to give them another shot today. My order was made incorrectly, and I had to PAY AGAIN to have the food remade. Then the SECOND DISH I paid for was also incorrect. I went back a THIRD time to clairfy my order. They took my incorrect food to the back, threw on a few of the 'key missing ingredients' and fresh cheese onto my old food and sent it out as "new and fresh dish". The staff is frustrated with me and remaking my order, so I just gave up and spent $25 on a lunch I didn't get. Won't be back, which is a shame really, could have been easily fixed, seeing as what ordered was a standard menu item.
