Well, there was a decent show playing at he lizard lounge on Saturday but I wasn’t able to enjoy it as long as I would have liked because I was kicked out for literally no reason. I am an 18 year old girl, accused of being drunk while I was resting my head on my boyfriends shoulder. I was there with my boyfriend, who was told he could stay but I had to leave. I found this really uncomfortable because this particular bouncer was willing to throw me on the street, a small young female, alone, in the middle of Dallas. I was not drunk, it was late and my eyes were tired, I found it rude and dangerous that he was willing to just kick me out by myself, when I did nothing wrong. I really don’t think going to this club is worth the 20$ entrance fee and rude bouncers...
To clarify, this is for the Church on it's respective nights. I've not been to the Liz Lounge when it's the Liz Lounge in almost six years.
Quite possibly the best nightclub in Dallas if you love dance music. This is a true clubber's club, where the music is first and foremost the main attraction. Excellent sound system and lighting, and plenty of seating and space to get your groove on. There are multiple levels, two different rooms, a spacious patio for smoking and catching your breath, several bars with friendly bartenders, and the crowd is always up for it. Dress comfortable and casual, you'll be guaranteed to work up a sweat here. Drink prices are better than most Dallas nightclubs, and they book some of the best talent from every corner of the globe. I've been coming here for a decade and never been disappointed. Highly recommended.
It was 3:17 AM and I wanted water, I didn't care how much it costed. I was told Texas does not server water after bartime.. I call BS. Just give the intoxicaded people you made water Lizard lounge.
This is a home away from home for me, the staff is no nonsense when there's an issue but everyone is generally easy going and fun to talk to. The bartenders are wonderful, having fenced in parking in that area is nice, and the events hosted there are wide in variety. Being able to get in free or discounted by participating in a certain event held multiple times a year is also a bonus I really like about this place :)
Could have been better. Gets poppin after 12. Very pricey. They mark you if you're 21. $20 for 18-20. $15 for 21 and up. Free for women. Top floor is 21 and up only. People are friendly/social. Bathrooms are decent. There's a bar if you need to loosen up. Music is loud. There are a few cute guys that come here. Feel free to talk to or hit on others, this place is completely welcome to that. There are people that come in groups with their hot friends here. You don't have to dress to impress, people dress alright. Free for women 21 and up.
