The produce are always so fresh and you can't beat the prices!
The lady didn't speak any English, so we couldn't order tacos. From what I saw through the glass where the food was, the barbacoa looked really dried out. It was around noon. I believe she said they didn't have fajita. Have to take a risk to get those tacos, though. This one just fell through. She probably found humor in us trying.
Cozy affordable whole in the wall meat / grocery market. Hispanic oriented clientele, they even have authentic real or typical Mexican food, is not the fancy exquisite cuisine dishes. They are tasty enough to get you going and enjoy a flavorful meal. There highly recommended you can taste also the atole, champurrado (hot warming drink based mostly with ground corn, cinnamon, chocolate and brown sugar) café de olla (rich aromatic coffee boiled in a pot) typical this time of the year at Central México and fresh waters (aguas frescas). Enjoy!
