A bit disappointed with the museum. I know its Dallas, not NY, but come on. With all of the people and money in this town, I expected a lot more. The exhibits were small and while nicely done, were not awe inspiring. Wish the museum was larger and nicer.
A short walk from the red line "train," yet a very enjoyable experience. The main areas are free, however there may be special exhibits that cost actual money. I recommend taking a full day to experience all four floors. Overall, it was worth the money.
A great place to bring the entire family!! The museum is free, except for a few select exhibits. There is underground parking that costs $12, which is nice easier than finding on street parking. If you become a member, you get reimbursed for parking.
I love coming here. Its free admission with the exception of certain events. There's always something to see and do no matter how many times I come here. The are areas for children and adults alike. Food court is has good variety. This is located right next to Klyde Warren park, which makes for a good transition before or after your visit to the museum.
This museum is free to go into. Opened at eleven. Very nice air conditioning place to enjoy alone time. Loved the exhibits. Had a children's area. The under four area had a giant foam "nest", books, blocks, and other sensory items. There were a few items that I would consider a choking hazard for the youngest ones. A pleasant way to spend some time out of the heat.
