I have been here a few times now. I've gotten pizza, spaghetti, penne pasta, and the last time I went I got salmon. I can not recommend the salmon highly enough. It is the best salmon I've had... Ever. The penne pasta with the pink sauce is wonderful as well. Another notable attribute of this fine establishment is the customer service. Every time I've gone with the exception of once the service was good. Just when I thought I was going to have to ask for a refill they would show up and do it. The one exception is when I received extraordinary customer service. I do not remember her name but it was a blonde woman in her early to mid 20's she was on top of it!
Well, they used to have the best pizza around. Now pretty much sucks. I guess maybe they got too big with all those other places he opened and now it's just not worth going to. Went there this week before Thanksgiving and could only eat half of the pizza cuz it was not good anymore.
The best pizza and Italian food in town, make sure and go to the original one on Mockingbird east of 75. The other locations are good but the Mockingbird location has history!
Such a wonderful Dallas institution!! The service is efficient and helpful, especially if you ask to be seated in "The Club" (a side room with very comfortable chairs!) The pizza is outstanding, especially when you realize they pioneered the hand-formed pizza in Dallas! Pastas and salads are also good. I order my salad w dressing on the side so it isn't soaking in it. Love this place!!
Overall: highly recommended.
Campisi’s was a great restaurant at one time. Now it’s not worth going! Service is the worst with bad attitudes and slow service. Pizza is either over cooked or under cooked. The kitchen need to be supervised for sure. The dining room is always cold. Management get a laser temperature gun and check it out. Very sad!
