This is a good enough place for government assisted medical insurance, but if you have private ins. I don't recomend it. I say good for government assisted because there aren't too many good quality clinics that take Medicaid/Chip. This is one of the better clinics in that part. But I will be going back to Baylor family in Dallas. Dr. Rachel Evans is the best. My daughter had chip this year as I changed jobs and dealing with that is a hassle in its self but she'll be put on my private insurance this coming year. This place always over books appointments so even if you have one, you'll be waiting 20-30min after. The front office employees aren't so nice. Very rude attitudes to be the forefront of the office. Dr. Cheng was our physician, we went only for a physical, took nearly 30 min after getting in to the room for someone to came and get started. Dr. Cheng didn't even come see my daughter till the very end, and he only introduced himself and said hello and nice to have you as a patient. Which is nice of him but when the nurse/doct. Asst. Asked us to stay a bit longer to see the doct I thought it was for him to actually see my daughter not to say hello. We waited an extra 20 min for him on an appt. that we had already spent too much time on in my opinion. I thought maybe and hr.. 1 1/2 hrs tops... but 2 1/2 hrs for a physical for a 5 year old is ridiculous. I don't even take that long for a physical as an adult. And the time was my to where you would say, oh they just want to take their time and answer questions and concerns. Nope most of the time was waiting for the appt to start and to see someone.
Very thankful for this practice around my neighborhood. I can schedule visits for my daughter and I back to back with the same Doc. All three doctors Gonzalez, Chang and Salazar rock! The entire staff, from the ladies at the front desk, to the nurses in the back are awesome and super helpful and very organized. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating was for the bathroom, they weren't disgusting but a little gross (I would suggest hiring an additional person just to do the cleaning at the end of the day- wipe down of reception chairs, bathroom, trash take out etc.- please don't make your awesome staff do this- they already do wonders for ya' ).
The staff here is horrible. Once they put you in a room they don't check on you. Rooms look like you in prison in i was a new patient. I never seen such an office like this
I was looking for a new primary care physician and had found this place. This is more of a family place for those without insurance or with government insurance I assume. I scheduled a appointment in the morning but the waiting room was filled up with a lot of loud children and the staff did not seem helpful. I have since located another doctor one that focuses on adults. If you have private insurance this place may not be the best option.
This place is hands down the best when my first daughter was born in 2008 I constantly kept changing doctors till a friend recommended me this place in 2012 and I haven't changed my 3 daughters from here. The doctors are so kind, caring, and know there stuff. I highly recommend this place!!
