On top of all of this, they left items behind when loading that i had to give away or sell for pennies on the dollar just to get it moved.

This was the worst mistake! Expensive items broken many missing items. Nothing went the way we were told it would! They left behind whatever they could get away with and threw away many items to the side street for trash to pick up. It's been since October 2016 and we have yet to see a single dime from their insurance company! Thousands of dollars and the insurance offered $24! I called Dart several weeks ago he said he would call me back on Monday no call from him! Thieves and liars don’t believe the good reviews they are fake! I have paper work to prove what I say. Do not use this company if you value any belongings. Dart I am calling my lawyer and will do whatever possible to prosecute. This is not to mention they damaged my expensive refrigerator, my bedroom set, my electric fireplace and more including my brand new door on my brand new Home!!!!!! I’m am in the process of replacing our outdoor Christmas decor and it is several thousands to replace!

Great job! The guys were there on time, and were professional and helpful. I will defiantly recommend them to all of my friends.

They also lied on the BBB site when i reported them. The case was closed for the sole reason that i was on vacation and didnt reply in 5 days, which is apparently all the BBB gives you to respond to their nonsense and lies.

thumbs up.

To add to my safety issues, the driver told all 3 of these men that i refused to tip and they were not getting a tip. I was confronted by all 3 as to why i was screwing them over and this created a very uncomfortable and dangerous situation as well. The worse part was, i DID give the driver a $500 tip and he was to disseminate to the others. He lied and pocketed the money and put me in a situation with upset men in my home.

They are all talk until you sign a contract and pay the deposit. Then they do nothing for you from that point on.

Again, 18 months later. Wont return emails, wont return calls, and wont process my claim.

Great Experience, as usually moving is a lot of headache but not with this guys, they made my moving experience very uneventful.

It isn't that I have been persuaded or allured, yet I need to be faithful to 1st Generation Moving, since they earned it. They dealt with my migration professionally, making it their duty to guarantee that I didn't lose anything amid the move and that nothing was harmed. Did I specify that the rates were so great? You wouldn't trust that I was having a long separation migration. Thus consequently, I will dependably utilize their administrations. I feel that no one who is wanting to migrate should look anyplace else

They also hired day laborers to unload at my location. I was guaranteed "professional movers" in my contract and that is not what was provided for delivery when they got to my home in a new state. Per our conversation and contact, they were to engage a local moving company. They instead had the driver post on fb to a day laborer group to get help. None of the 3 that helped with my unload were "professional movers". They were in other fields or between jobs and looking to earn some cash. I was a single woman having multiple men in my home who they had zero information and had not vetted at all. This is not only an unprofessional way to conduct business, this is unsafe to the paying customers. These men told me themselves they were day laborers and they were "only working so hard" and would never work with that particular driver again if he posted.

They also took personal moving blankets i had purchased to wrap my furniture because they saw them in a box in the garage. They then refused to leave them upon delivering claiming they were theirs. There was at least $100 worth of blankets they took.

To date, they have not paid up or provided information to their own claims company for me to file a claim. I have tried countless times to file and no one at the claims company will speak to me because they refuse to acknowledge the claim.

AVOID!

I do recommend this company to anyone who is looking for movers.

Do not use this company! Been 18 months and i still have not received any payment on damaged and "misplaced" items. They damaged pretty much every piece of furniture i own...including knocking off entire pieces of the bottom of my grandmothers china hutch, chipped glass from a curio cabinet, tore my couch and stripped the legs, deep scratches in all my bedroom furniture. They lost an entire coffee table base...i only ended up with the glass to it. Lots of good that does. They failed to put all my furniture back together, as my contract stated. I had to hire a handy man to do it. There are two boxes of items that never showed up to this day.

When trying to resolve the issues of the furniture not being assembled, damages, non professional movers, the driver trying to steal my phone charger, taking my blankets, and lying about a tip he pocketed, i was greeted with hostility and zero empathy. I was told I had to release my rights to give any kind of reviews to get a measly $300 settlement. Want to know why they dont have many negative reviews? That is why. They make you sign a release that you wont give a fair and honest review of their service if you want any money. They prohibit negative reviews if you want compensated. I chose to give fair and accurate reviews over $300. Trying to save others from this nightmare.

Please do not give this company your business for any long distance moves. I personally wouldnt trust them with a move across the street.
