I got a recommendation to go to this place from my boss. I was very disappointed in the experience that I had. The bathrooms were terrible all three of them were clogged with toilet paper and it was all over the floor. The waiter that we had messed up my order three times but still brought out my boyfriend's food first. He never offered to take off my meal because I didn't start eating until after they cleared my boyfriend's plate. I had to ask him twice he kept bringing the ticket back with the food on there it was just a mess. I don't go out very often so when we do have date night I look forward to having a good time but this one was just terrible. The food was decent
Great Mexican food might be a little bit on the tex mex side. Their tortillas are out of this world! Be sure not to stuff yourselves on them. This restaurant has been in the neighborhood since I was maybe 15. I always order the same thing which is the dry aged steak fajitas which are basically the s##t!! no other words sorry...... there nice, thick and tender which makes them incomparable to most other places I can think of. The only con I can think of is this place can get very crowded and noisy which is expected with their huge bar. Thumbs up
The food here is amazing, unfortunately we got the awful waitress. It took forever to get our drinks. A different employee brought out our appetizer, yet another employee brought our drink refills, then 2 other employees brought our food. Our waitress was apparently too busy to take care of us. My husbands order, she got 2 out of the 4 items on his plate wrong. Her excuse, " Oh, you did ask for that, I forgot." Most likely will not be visiting Uncle Julio's again, at least not this location. Not to mention the noise level in the entire building was off the charts.
Way way over priced. Ordered veggie fajitas, $16.99, said easy on the onions. Got a plate of mostly onions. Ask for more bell peppers, get a plate of mostly onions, again. The service was fine for our large group. And the Grand swirl was delicious. However, I would never eat here again because I prefer not to waste money. Not a good value for what they serve.
In my opinion still the best fajitas in the DFW area. They also have very nice Gordo plates that friends and family can share with 3 to 5 meats. Delicious Salsa Fresh made chips and tortillas. And let's not forget the chocolate pinata which is got to be the single best party dessert there is.
