- the hostess is seemingly only there to get the cake you brought from storage and as a human time keeper to give you the 15 and 5 minute warning to get out of the room for the next party. So when they say you have the room from 5:30 to 6:30...that's setup to cleanup...getting food, cake and presents done.
- the hostess again is there to refill the one pitcher of each drink you get. So with 20 kids, that's all she did the entire time for us. Besides her clock reminders at 15 and 5 minutes left inn the room...in her rude tone.
Yeah it's old, but it's pretty clean, games are fun, laser tag is alright, and the go karts are awesome! Definitely had a blast with my pals, and I'm 20. Perfect for the whole family.
The long and short of it, do the party at any of the other places in town that does events. We've thrown my daughter's parties at Main Event, Jump Street, Kid Mania, Sweet and Sassy, and Oak Point gymnastics. ALL were better service and were just as much, or more, fun for the kids while not making the parents feel like they were putting out the hostess.
If throwing a birthday party you should know the following:
Had my son's 7th day party! He and his buddies had a blast. Good came out hot, party host was accommodating and polite. The arcade is a bit expensive but golf g and laser tag provided them with plenty of fun. we will return for a family day.
- you are responsible for serving pizza, drinks and popcorn to the party and all cleanup - not the party hostess like most places that do kid parties
Great place for mini-golf. The interior is dated, but in a good way. It feels like you're traveling back in time when you go here.
- the mini golf that was unlimited and the one bonus attraction was the thing that got the two stars in my review. Because the laser tag, and go cart attendants don't really care how many times you do the rides...so they don't mark the bands you got and had to put on all 20 kids yourself. The hostess just shoves them at you as she hurries you out of the room you just spent 300 bucks on.
- 20 kids in a party room is REALLY tight. It's small and hard to maneuver
Love going on an off day and having the place almost to ourselves. I can’t do crowds, get bad anxiety. Pizza is great. Hubby loves the batting cages. They could do some repairs, cleaning, and pest control (outside on the golf course namely). Most of the games work pretty well, if not they’ll help you get your token back. They did remove their old Dance Dance Revolution arcade machine though (it didn’t read steps too well anyway) and I’m a little sad they didn’t get the new version in. Maybe one day
