I've been coming to this bar for years, since I moved to Dallas in 2010. This is the first bar my wife and I ever closed down together, so it has a special place in my heart. I've mostly aged out of the uptown bar scene in my early 30s, but I have yet to age out of the Quarter Bar.
With two bars there is hardly ever a wait for drinks and all the bartenders are great! Nightly specials and a great happy hour make Quarter Bar a great neighborhood bar.
Look I kid you not, those pork tacos are THE BEST, THE ABSOLUTE BEST, I have EVER had in all my Taco loving years. I’m a little mad I discovered it, because I can’t stop going. If you like pork tacos, these will change your life, capture your soul, make you dance.
This place has a great patio, good food, and reasonably priced drinks (for uptown)- making it a veritable oasis in an uptown full of the overpriced and underwhelming. In short, the Quarter Bar has solid drinking fundamentals that should not be overlooked. The extra rooms make it easy to find one for you and your friends.
Hit the patio late in summer, grab a table, and settle in. You'll have a good time.

Awesome neighborhood bar set in a New Orleans style house. I love all the various rooms and chairs you can hang out in while drinking and the courtyard and second story balcony are great outdoor options.
