Good price - horrendous experience!!!!
My wife realized after we arrived home from the 6 hour trip that she could not find her purse. We called the Love Connection Remote Parking number and were given the run around. The attendant hung up on my wife; after finally getting someone on the phone, they informed her they had the purse. I called and was told that a supervisor only works from 9 AM to 10 AM on weekdays. I asked if I could leave a number and they took it down but we never received a call back. We called back to speak to a supervisor during the recommended time to which the cashier said "no one is here" and abruptly hung up.
A friend recommended this parking location to my wife because of the price of parking. We were greeted by a friendly lady upon arrival and were able to get on a waiting shuttle. Getting to and from the airport was rather simple along with paying and leaving. Up to this point, everything was great. Then the rest started!!!
Easy. And cheap rate. Secure. Shuttle runs 15 to 20 mins. All have been really nice.
You get what you pay for. While parking is only $6, you pay the difference with your time. When it comes to getting to the airport, add 15 minutes or so to get from the parking lot to the terminal. Many of the busses are not ideal for transporting luggage so it all has to get stored in the back which just makes things take longer.
However where you really pay is when coming back. First the pickup point is on the other side of the terminal from where baggage claim is. Not convenient at all. Next without fail, every time I exit the terminal the bus is driving by and I miss it. If you are lucky you wait another five minutes. If you are not I have waited almost twenty before. The price is great but don't be in a hurry if you go there.
We were told we could not have the purse shipped even after we offered to pay for shipping. The only thing we were consistently told was "yes, we have it and you have to come pick it up". Yes, our fault for leaving the purse behind... no argument. No assistance whatsoever in attempting an amicable resolution that is convenient.
I've used The Love Connection on two trips so far and I have had a good experience both times. This time was over Thanksgiving week, so it was quite full, but I was still able to find a parking spot with no issues and was picked up promptly for the shuttle both going to and coming back from the airport. But what really put them over the top for me was that I came back from my trip to a dead battery in my car at 9 o'clock at night. The manager came over and helped me jump my car battery for free and made sure I was okay before he left. They were very kind and professional the whole time. I would have been stuck without them! I'll certainly be continuing to park at The Love Connection when I fly out of Dallas Love Field in the future.
Amazingly smooth experience!! After the reviews I read for the Advantage and EZ car rental service to expect, I was hesitant. Very happy I chose them!! Shuttle service from DAL and back was quick and the staff was very friendly and they even gave us a free upgrade! I would definitely use this place in the future.
