I recently purchased a car from Texas Import Sales. I live in Seattle and the car was in Dallas at their facility. As I was out of the country and moving around I called Greg Foster to see what I could do to hold the car. Greg was awesome and understood what I wanted to do. I sent him a thousand dollars to hold the Porsche 911 as a pending sale and that allowed me to return home so I could finalize the transaction.
UPDATE (7/24/16): What a difference a month makes. This dealership now ranks as the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, as opposed to my initial review below. My purchase date was 6/6/16, and as of 7/24/16 they haven't paid my trade in vehicle despite numerous phone calls and an in person visit. To make matters worse they haven't even sent the title to my new vehicle to the DMV yet. All this means that I'm stuck making two payments, one to a trade in vehicle that is not in my possession anymore and the second to a vehicle that is not technically and legally mine. Even if they somehow manage to remain in business, not even sure if they are in business at this point, please do yourself a favor and run far away. It is not worth a couple of grand saved, I can promise you. If someone is giving you a really good deal it is usually for a reason, in my case it was a business who's house of cards was about to fall down and who's management didn't care about taking their customers down with them.
**OLD REVIEW, please feel free to ignore** I just bought a car from Texas Import Sales. I had a great experience from the condition of the vehicle, fair trade in value and an excellent financing deal. Greg Foster was my sales person and he made the whole process very comfortable and friendly. I've bought quite a few new and used cars from regular to high end dealerships and this experience ranks among the best of them.
Greg was very generous with his time and we text and had phone conversations regularly. Greg was pleasant and was not pushy about anything. He assured me that he had a lot of experience in the industry and that the dealership really stands behind the cars they sell. His quiet confidence in the process went a long way in me trusting him to be my advocate and looking out for my best interests. My car was ready to ship but Greg found out the radio was not working as you needed a code to open the programming. I found out from the transport guy about this and it turns out Greg sent it to the Porsche dealership to have it unlocked. The dealership has excellent pictures to preview and all my questions were answered quickly. Greg is a regular guy with 8 grandchildren so I now know where he gets his patience from. I would recommend Greg Foster of Texas Import Sales without reservation. If you’re looking for a luxury car in great condition with fair pricing give Mr. Greg Foster a call you won’t be sorry. By the way I purchased a car that listed as probably one of the least expensive cars represented by Greg Foster however; I got service like I was a customer buying a Ferrari. Thank you Greg!!!
Great overall experience, while buying my current truck from Texas Import Sales. Everyone on their staff is highly professional and easy to work with. They all helped to make the car buying experience fun and hassle-free. Dominick helped answer all of my questions and concerns. They probably have the car that you're looking for, and if they don't, then they'll find it for you! Would definitely recommend them to anyone. I plan on being a customer for life!
I was very pleased with my experience with Texas Imports. I worked with Dominick who got me in and out very quick. This was a very painless and easy car purchase. Only negative comment that I have was that my gas tank was only half full when I picked up the car. If you are going to spend that much money, the gas tank should be full.
