- Wall paint in my room (312) was chipping off, especially by the headboard.
- Standard Hampton breakfast fare was mediocre. I was the first person to arrive at 6 AM, but the hot food (scrambled eggs and sausage) was about room temperature.
I loved it! Super nice room and staff! Very clean, smells fresh throughout the hotel and room.
- The alarm clocks in the rooms are so loud that they sound like the fire alarm. I was awakened at 3 AM and again at 430 AM by my neighbors’ alarms going off. Walls are paper thin and clocks are insanely loud.
- Mattress was old, lumpy and hard as a rock. I usually look forward to the “fresh and clean” beds at Hamptons. This motto wasn’t even mentioned anywhere like normal. No plush duvet, no fluffy pillows, and no soft pillow top mattress.
- No nicer dining options within 15 minutes. Denny’s and Burger King are the nearest options.
Nice hotel with managers reception in the evenings. The location looks shady, but there is ample parking with security guards at night.
- Another guest mentioned a problem with prostitution at the hotel. I understand there is a strip club across the street.
Decent quality rooms and hotel. Pool is outdoors and in an odd location. Rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. Not much around the hotel except for the highway and a Burger King. Workers are all very nice.
- Digital check in was pointless as I had to show my ID and go over my credit card details for reasons that the desk attendant couldn’t explain.
- Bathroom vent looked to have been ripped from the ceiling and was barely hanging up
Not standard quality and experience expected from a Hampton Inn. I stay at Hampton Inns across the country due to consistency of customer service and comfort during business trips, and this location is unworthy to be a part of the Hilton brand.
This place is dated with 1970s style decor; color scheme really needs an update as no one thinks bright gold and peacock blue looks classy or contemporary. Not a good/safe/comfortable choice for a single female business traveler or families. Appeared to be mostly construction crews and a few groups of business travelers.
- Water pressure/heat was awesome (the only reason for 2 versus 1 star).
- Parking lot is shared with another hotel and is not well lit.
I cannot find stars over five. It's not enough to give five stars. Cream room, completed managed, complementary tasty good breakfast and happy hour evening foods. Kindness staffs. I love the hotel. All my friends, please stay here when you need a hotel in Dallas, I'm fully recommend.
