This place is legit. It's a cool museum even for adults without kids. Interactive and has interesting exhibits on things like oil and gas, rocks and minerals, and the human body. You could ready spend a relaxing 4 hours here! If we lived in Dallas we'd get a membership!

This museum is great! There are 5 floors of fun for children and adults if all ages. My two 2 year old toddlers loved it from beginning to end. I enjoyed the life floor, and the mineral floor. They have an array of beautiful minerals on display with a wide range of colors. Definitely will come back.

Awesome place. Great for all ages. Prices are a little higher than I would like but becoming a member is a good way to increase value. Children's museum is for toddlers and maybe up to 3 or 4 but everything else is suitable for all ages. It's kept up very well and staff is friendly and helpful.

The parking lot was a little hard to find the first time there, and it costs $10/day for nonmembers or $5/day for members.

We LOVE this place! We went expecting a regular natural history museum, but there are so many interactive exhibits in addition to the standard displays. My boys (ages 4 and 2), love the "robot place" where they get to drive remote control cars and program little robots. There is also a children's play area in the lower level for kids ages 5 and under, and my boys have a blast there. It has a little market, camping area, water area, and a "city" play structure that they can climb on. There is a sandbox outside and a craft area as well.

We are charter members. Great family based entertainment and exhibits. The standard exhibits have not changed since they first opened up, but are still interesting. We see a lot of movies here, and try to make the traveling exhibits as much as possible. Great place to beat the heat in the summer months and a warm spot during the winter season to get out and learn new things. The rock and gem exhibit is world class! Always a family favorite for us.
