I had never even known about the old locations but today I needed to replace a toilet valve so it seemed like a great time to check out Elliot's Hardware which is in a much more convenient location than the big box stores for me. This place is way bigger than I expected. Sure, it is way smaller than a Lowes or Home Depot but was still a good size.
This place looked like it had high quality tools and nicer fixtures than what you will find at home depot and lowes. This is way more convenient than having to stand in line at home depot. I'll definitely be back in the future.
I needed a 4x4 cut down to 2" thickness. I called all around town and no one was able to help me. Elliott's Hardware owner Jose used a table saw and produced a clean block of wood. Very friendly and went the extra mile for me last minute. Thank God for old school mom and pop hardware stores.
It is so nice to find a real hardware store with help that knows what they are doing.
Great store that hires people who actually know hardware. Good selection of just about anything. If you don't need lumber, pass up the box stores and come here.

So glad to find Elliot's again. How they pack so much into their store is beyond me. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They always have what I am looking for and get me in and out quickly.
