Small shop with basic stuff. Good all around LBS. But has a very experienced maintenance department. Brett has been my "go-to" mechanic since the 90's. Plus shop's parking lot is a great place to park for a lap around White Rock Lake. They shop is ready to tweak or fix whatever is needed or provide gels if you forget them. Friendly folks without an elitist attitude.
I bought a cyclocross bike here. They did a great job of finding the right bike for me. I brought the bike in for adjustments a couple of months later and they took care of it on the spot with no charge.
Stopped in twice. Bought a helmet and bike for around $2400. On both occasions, no one spoke to me. The frst time, I was the only customer in the store and the second time there was only one other person. I found the staff unfriendly and unreceptive. I have been in a couple of other bike shops in Dallas and they both greeted me with a smile and a greeting as soon as I walked in the door. Dallas bike works, they ignored me. After I had looked at bike’s for a while with no one showing any interest in helping me, an attractive young woman came in, and while still ignoring me immediately someone went to her to help her. With some persistence I finally found a very nice salesman named Justin,. Justin was very nice and very knowledgeable and ultimately I bought a bike, thanks to him. After buying it I asked if they could put the rack from my old bike onto the new one, and they said they couldn’t do it because It didn’t fit. Now I’m not a mechanic at all, but when I got home, I did it in five minutes. Point is, they couldn’t be bothered. The sales person, Justin, was the only friendly person in the store. The store only gets three stars because it was smart enough to hire him. Even so, next time, I’m going elsewhere.
Outstanding mechanics and knowledable sales people. Also right next to Lake House so you can get some excellent food or drinks while waiting for your bike repair. Excellent stock of parts and bikes.
One of the best bike shops in Dllas. The salesman is superb, very knowledgeable and helpful, he remembers his customers and goes out of his way for all of them. I'm always happy with their work . Their pricing is very reasonable and fair. They will always have my business!
