They don't care customer rights. Arrived airport at 9:30 and no Pay less shuttle. Called the customer service many times no answer. Had to pay $90 extra to rent from Hertz. I was lucky another shuttle took me there. Never go pay-less. It's poorest service I ever seen.
I hate that I have to give them even one star.
You get what you pay for...but don't let that get you down. I think Payless buys used cars from the big guys but they offer them at a deeply discounted prices (I'm being relative here - they still separated me from my dollar but it was less than other outfits, which was my point). The place isn't glitzy or any thing and they even upgrade my car no charge.
Oh by the way they still charged my credit card for the rental, these guys are crooks.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I showed up on time on Thanksgiving Day with my rental agreement in hand, they told me they had no cars even though I had reserved my car several weeks ahead of time. Being Thanksgiving there we no other rental car companies with cars. All the other negative reviews for this Payless are well deserved. Avoid this place like the plague.
Bad! Very BAD! Filthy car that did not have a full tank. The car had close to 30000 miles on it and they must have been hard miles because the car was poor. We will not use Payless again. They were not evan there when we were returning the car. Had to to take a taxi to the airport. Bad. Very bad.
If you are like me (6'3" and 225#) but, like Mr. Martin in Planes Trains and Automobiles, just want 4 f___ing wheels and a seat (the Mitsu Lancer I got MUCH nicer, btw) this is a great place. Missing rewards program but, hey, it's cheap.
My experience here was not good at all. The car was dirty inside and out. There was make up on the driver side door that got on my black sweater. They had me sign an agreement stating they would charge a $200 smoking fee but the car has a hint of smoke already. The lady that checked me in had very poor customer service skills but the guys were cool. On my next trip to Dallas i will not be using payless. I tried calling the manager multiple times and couldn't catch her and her voice mail doesn't allow me to even leave a message. I'm totally disappointed, i wish i could post pictures.
