over all i will MABEY rent with them again.. just been more careful... the service was fast and i like the fact that we could pick the car .... BUT the car wasnt that clean , smell like somebody smoked inside ( me been a non-smoker thats a big deal...it took 3 days and 4 car deodorants to take that smell off) also i wasnt specified how much was going to be my ensurance ... AND IT WAS A LOT.
I got great customer service here, they did try to seek me more than what I needed but that's their job. Can't fault then for that. I gave it 5 stars for friendliness and willingness to help me out. Ended up under what online quoted me. Happy about that.
I rented a car from them that broke down on the side of interstate 30 in Texas. I called Thrifty emegency road side service number. I was told they would have to check the manufactuer warranty. They left me my wife and baby on the side of the interstate with no help they didn’t care aboit our safety and they never helped I jad to call the police and aaa they are the worst company i have ever dealt with period. We were visiting from another state and had no one to call the people that work for them should all be fired! I wish I had used someone else .
The car rental process was very easy, no problems at all. The front desk person was nice, courteous and polite. We had reserved a car a couple months in advance and they honored that price, all in all it was a great experience, no hassle at all. The car itself was well maintained, clean, and very dependable. It was perfect for what we needed it for. Thank you Thrifty car rental!!
Very upset about the service, they constantly offered "services and good deals". Was told that we could bring the car back and they would fill it for a good price (2.42 when gas is 2.17 a gallon). The quote they offered also didn't specify for a day but the total was very different. I would suggest asking LOTS of questions and skipping any of their "deals, extras, or specials". The car is clean and works great but the misleading conversations with the sales rep was very off putting.
