I like taking my kids to My Children's of Lake Highlands they are friendly & careing. They give you all information you need to know about your child. They give your child a warm welcome there. I very strongly recommend this My Children's of Lake Highlands

Experience has steadily become worse. Our last 2 visits for wellness checkups and immunizations have gone horrible! At my child's 15 month checkup we arrived at our scheduled time of 8:30 and were immediately told we were an hour early, our appointment was at 9:30, but our check out docs from the time before had our appointment listed as 8:30. After about 10 mins of trying to clarify that my docs said our appointment was at 8:30 the front desk rep said they could get us back in 30 mins if we wanted to wait, so we decided to stay. An hour passed and they still had not called us back. We were finally called back at 10:00, they took her measurements and put us in a room. We sat for another 45 mins. My child became very upset, it was coming up on lunch time, we had been there for over 2 hours and starting to get tired. The Dr finally comes in and can hardly examine my child because they were so upset. We're told the nurse will be in to give shots in about 10 mins. Another 30 mins went by. We did not leave until almost 12. Sat at this clinic from 8:30 to noon and not one person apologized for the delay. At our recent checkup for my child's 18 month immunizations our appointment was at 9:30, my husband waited for over an hour past our appointment time before a nurse took measurements. They asked him to wait out in the waiting room until an exam room was available. 11:00 passed and they were still waiting out to be called back. What should be only an hour and half visit turned into a 3+ hour ordeal our last 2 visits. Needless to say, we are looking for a different primary pediatrician.
Not a good experience with the doctor. Took in my daughter with a fever, cough, weak, ear ache & pain in her throat. All she said was " Did she start school" I said yes ma'am "Oh it's a cold" She din't give me ANYTHING for the fever NOTHING for the pain, NOTHING for the cough. She just said " You will just have to wait for her body to fight it off" I sure din't buy that because my 5 year old was crying OF PAIN fever NON stop. All she did was SLEEP and was weak. I as a mom din't buy that I mean she dint even TEST for any infection!! So the next day I took her to urgent care and GUESS what? She was positive for the FLU positive on an ear infection. Yeah thanks a lot for NOTHING that was NOT simple 'COLD' next time TEST for everything. 2 Days later my daughter is doing AWESOME thanks to the urgent care doctor!!
Never go in afternoon you will wait for eveeeer its like they get to you when there ready there is no reason to be sitting in thw back for an hour just to see the doc smh
