I Had a miscarriage at 6 months & they didn't bother in letting me know? for 6 hours! Nd when they asked me to give birth ? I was confused ? Like what? why? She thought the other nurse let me know, then I had them both in the room. Laughing on "oh I thought u told her? Back in forth!?" I flipped, u mean to tell me I waited 6hrs to hear these bad news for y'all to be laughing it off in my face?
Other than that the rest of my experience was good & good food also.
Once I got into the delivery room the doctors were nice & the nurses great experience. But ugh! Then a nossy clean up lady kept checking up on my baby, for no reason she did it to be nossy & it offended me so much. The 3rd time she did it I told her to stop! Don't touch him don't look at him leave him alone . If you are not my doctor, or nurse u have no reason to look at my child & the fact that she came at me with he's in a better place blah, blah. No! It is really offensive to say when u loose your child & get this she only looked at my baby when I was "asleep". Until I cought her. IDK if this lady took a pic. But the 2nd time I saw her she put away her phone. (Latina fat, lady, kinda old) watch out for her.
I previously posted about an outpatient experience which was horrible. The same family member is now in the ER which has been an amazing experience. Nurse Kyle, nurse Jessica and nurse Deanna have been wonderful! They have been extremely kind and attentive. We are about to go upstairs and I hope the experience is just as nice. These 3 nurses have helped to changed my opinion of Methodist Dallas..... so far.
I give a 3 star , Because their nurses in the ER lack on hospitality. They seem uneducated.
Hospital and staff have been amazing this time around!!! Nurses were incredible and doctors took time to explain everything necessary. My mother is leaving today and everyone has been so kind!
This hospital is trash. My mom came in because her kidneys weren’t working. She’s been in here over night and have not told her ANYTHING. Every time they come in she asks they tell her “we’re checking.” One doctor came in asking to check her heart monitor and she doesn’t even have one. The doctor looked so surprised. We need answers and they’re not giving it to us. If I could rate this with a negative, I would.
Listen to me people...if you are having a life-threatening emergency go to this ER. They know what they are doing. All the doctors and nurses and everyone else for that matter are a bunch of rock stars. You will be glad that you did.
0 stars!! This is my husband's 2nd surgery here and both times they have been overbooked and he's had to wait for hours on end past his scheduled time on an empty stomach. It is no wonder we had to return for a second time to repair the botched job done the first time. How can you expect a doctor to do his best when you are booking patients like cattle? After they wake up and finally able to eat cannot get even a drink of water. All about production here, not about patient care.
