I have been alongside my mother-in-law for months going in and out of hospitals. The care she received here was outstanding and by far the best yet. The care team on the 4th floor sped her recovery better than I would've imagined with the compassionate care given. If that wasn't enough, they took time out constantly for me, too. Byron (Respiratory Therapist) literally sat and answered every single question I had noted, which took up an entire page. I learned more in that 1 night than I have in 6 months! Lynette (Charge Nurse) saw to it that both my loved one and I were as comfortable as possible. When she saw a need, she handled it immediately herself instead of delegating it to someone else no matter how long it took. John (Charge Nurse) even personally made me tea and checked if there were any quality issues that he could help with. Response times for a person physically present in the room tended to be around a minute when the call button was pressed. I could go on and on. Definitely referring this hospital to everyone I know. Keep up the good work!
I absolutely love this place I came in this place in really bad shape but the care that this entire staff have for their patients is indescribable they treat you like family I would like to thank everyone there nurses,CNAs,resp,everyone for nursing me back to health Keep up the good work
My mother was admitted to Select Downtown on April 28, 2017 and was welcomed with a staff of compassionate and professional nurses, RT, and technicians. Even the supervisor from the floor came to say "welcome." Mike, the CEO provided me with all the information needed to feel at home among my new family of caregivers. Within hours, my mom became very sick and was transferred to the ICU on the same floor and the care was more than amazing. Nurses gave me peace of mind and I was able to sleep that first night for the first time in 2 weeks. My mom's nurse played healing music for her (she asked my permission) and sang over her room a song of healing and praise. Her RT walked through the numbers and reports and the supervisors made sure I had everything we needed. We were brought snacks and they took care of our very large family of visitors. From the minute we arrived, until my mom passed, the level of care, respect and compassion was conveyed in a way that makes me proud we chose this place to be. Please consider this hospital for your family! I have told the CNO, the CEO, the nurses and ANYONE who will listen....they all ROCK and you want your family member to have this level of care. I promise you....

Inconsistency with the level of care. Promising is one thing, but reality a whole different story. My grandma EOL stay here was a nightmare. The majority of the staff were not enthusiastic caring for her. As for result, bed sores developed and got worsen.
