The staff met my family with open arms. We traveled 160 miles by ambulance and my husband received great medical support. He was very pleased with his results. He had a brain tumor removed successfully.

Great service and care. Billing practices are terrible. They create multiple accounts and use deceptive notations. This results in you not having no clue how much you owe, what the service is for, or even if you are being charged the correct amount. Every time I get a bill it is never

I'm not sure why some had a bad experience here. And I'm very sorry that they did. I was a patient in Clements Hosp (part of UTSW) for about 4 weeks, 2 of those weeks in ICU. The doctors and nurses there saved my life. The nurses and doctors were more than compassionate and caring with my husband and son during this time. The doctors and nurses went the distance with me and, as I said, saved my life. I have a rare lung disease and had been an in-patient at 2 other hospitals and was sent by my PCP to UTSW/Clements Hospital as a last chance effort. I will forever be grateful and will forever sing their praises. --T Womack

So $2,000 later I have had nothing fixed, and know just as little as I did before I made the stupid decision to go see the doctor. I would have been better off just dealing with the pain and taking some freaking advil.

I have been driving from Abilene, Tx to UT Southwestern for my daughter to be cared for by three different clinics and a hospitalization. It is hard for me to drive in Dallas but with God as my co pilot, we have made many trips. I will continue to make this drive for I know she is getting the best care possible. Thank you UT Southwestern for being there and having the best doctors, nurses, research programs and most caring staff to make our visits and stays as comfortable as possible.

I saw hand specialist Robert L. Bass for pain in right hand..he directed me to get a few different tests done so they could determine the problem. Paid copay, fine. Got the MRI and then the Nerve conduction study. Paid over $300 that day. Not once was I ever told my insurance wasn't going to cover, nor was i told what the total amount was. Few weeks later I was billed an additional $1,800. Ok Ok you have to pay for medical treatment, right? NOBODY EVER WENT OVER MY RESULTS, DISCUSSED, OR EVEN CALLED ME TO TELL ME THEY WERE IN.
